Pants Of Glory, Framed Original

This piece is from Richard Berner’s 2023 solo show at Enter Gallery, You Can Be Anything (*or Nothing). The show is a humorous exploration of the ambiguity of art and its capacity to mean everything to one person, and absolutely nothing to the next.

In Pants of Glory, Berner uses his champs to explore the yearning artists possess to create insightful works, and whether that’s an essential part of being an ‘artist’. Berner explains:

“Artists are always trying to sound profound. I’m torn between wanting to do that, and wanting to take the mick out of it.”

This original artwork is created with ink and gouache on paper. It has deckled edges and comes signed by the artist.

Please note this piece comes framed in a 25mm black box frame with a white shadow float and regular glass.
