This piece is part of Peter Blake's much-loved Paris Suite collection, which takes inspiration from The City of Love. Via his signature brand of humorous collage, Blake transforms some of the city's most iconic landmarks into bizarre scenes featuring an unlikely cast of characters.
In Paris- Dancing, Blake uses photographs and illustrations of people dancing the night away, to create a festival-like feeling under the shadow of Palais Garnier. Many of the happy crowd are children, whose joy and innocence is a theme across all of the Paris Suite.
From a limited edition of 100, the silkscreen print is signed by Peter Blake.
