In Parklife II, Mitchell adorns traditional photographs with contradictory imagery, to play with our perceptions of the Geisha lifestyle and to highlight the differences and similarities between Japanese and European culture. In this piece, two Geishas pose for the camera, a vintage Boom Box and skates completing their look.
