Piss Off XL

Over the course of her 25-year career, Soozy Lipsey has worked across multiple platforms, repurposing found objects and images to encourage the viewer to ‘see new things, feel new feelings and make new connections between ideas, emotion, imagery and experience.’

In Piss Off, Lipsey has repurposed a master. Mona Lisa has had quite enough of being gawked at, and has strung a curt message to prying eyes around her neck, giving her famously impassive face a whole new edge.
