Playboy Playgirls hails from Mitchell's coveted East Meets West series, inspired by Japanese postcards from the 20th century depicting the daily routines of a group of Geisha. Via the insertion of items from Western culture, in this case, a copy of Playboy Magazine - Mitchell disrupts the women's otherwise ethereal demeanour.
This gold and red leaf print on French Oak Edge board is finished in resin. From a limited edition of five, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
