Prada Marfa hails from Mexican artist, Paul Fuentes’ Travel Photography series. By transporting us to sun-drenched locations oozing mid-century nostalgia, Fuentes encourages us to appreciate the everyday beauty around us.
Although it looks like a scene from a dream, Prada Marfa is actually an art installation (stocked with real Prada items) created by Berlin-based artistic duo, Elmgreen & Dragset.
Located on the side of a remote Texas highway, the installation has become a cultural phenomenon, making appearances everywhere from The Simpsons, to Beyoncé’s instagram feed.
This giclée print is from a limited edition of 80, and comes signed and numbered by the artist. The piece is available in two sizes.
