Reclaimed Icons: Pin Up

Since his career began in the 1950s, Sir Peter Blake has been prolific, creating paintings, collage, typography and more inspired by his fascination with popular culture. Blake’s impact on the face of contemporary art is so significant, he is now known as the ‘Godfather of Pop Art.’ 

This piece hails from Blake's 2018 Reclaimed Icons collection, in which he reworks and revitalises historically iconic images into striking works of art using metallic glitters and vibrant inks.
