Saltdean Scenario bridges two of Mulvie’s most iconic exhibitions: In the Air at Shoreham Airport and Endless Summer at Saltdean Lido.

Inspired by archive photographs of Saltdean Lido, this piece pairs a rich night sky with a vintage plane soaring above a sun-drenched lido. It’s a reimagining of Saltdean’s famous architecture — cinematic, surreal, and bathed in memory.

First exhibited at Shoreham Airport, a Grade II-listed Art Deco landmark, the work reflects Mulvie’s fascination with the golden age of air travel and childhood moments spent watching planes from the airport café.
