Jayson Lilley's love of urban architecture shines through his work, and reminds us of the beauty to be found in the urban environment when we choose to notice it.

Using his innovative printmaking practice, which combines silkscreen with painting and collage techniques, the artist recreates iconic views of cities, playing with colour and perspective in the process.

In this artwork, Lilley has screenprinted his city scene onto a Vintage Ladybird Book, seamlessly combining his image of a couple enjoying a romantic moment with the design of the cover.

Lilley creates the flourishes of the artwork, such as the sun and the flowers, by hand with oil paint, pen and glitter.

From a limited edition of 30, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
