Pure Evil is a contemporary artist best known for his infamous Nightmare series, in which he depicts celebrities crying as an "illustration of the heartbreak and sadness we've all experienced in relationships.” 

This piece hails from Pure Evil’s 2024 100 Actresses Project, in which he depicts the biggest stars of cinema, past and present, with his trademark tear.  

Here he presents Sharon Tate, an actress who was carving out an incredible career with films like Valley of the Dolls and Rosemary’s Baby before she was tragically murdered by the Manson Family.
