Cassandra Yap is a London-based artist whose work centres on the juxtaposition between darkness and beauty. Often infused with a surreal edge, Yap’s provocative work is inspired by her obsession with the female form and vintage pin-up girls. 

In this romantic piece, Yap depicts a couple in love. The amorous pair are surrounded by blue butterflies, symbolising liberation and new beginnings.  

This four-colour silkscreen print with gold and pearlescent inks is from a limited edition of 100, signed and numbered by the artist.
