Elizabeth Waggett is a British contemporary artist who creates free-spirited depictions of animals, skulls, and personal trinkets. Her work explores the profound relationship between where we place value and purpose in our consumer-driven society. 

This piece is from a series of original studies released in 2023, in which Waggett reimagines some of her most coveted artworks. In this piece, Waggett presents her skull sporting a crown of thorns.
