Dirty Hans is a painter and illustrator specialising in high impact contemporary urban art. His work fuses Pop Art sensibilities with realism, and borrows imagery from popular culture to create fun pieces which evoke a sense of time and place.

Spraying in the Rain is Dirty Hans’ homage to the 1952 classic movie, starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. The piece depicts the film’s most iconic scene, but in Hans’ version, rather than an umbrella, Kelly wields a spray can.
