Time for Magic, A Shamanarchist's Guide to the Wheel of the Year

Time for Magic, A Shamanarchist's Guide to the Wheel of the Year

Punk meets Druidry in Time for Magic: A Shamanarchist’s Guide to the Wheel of the Year - a book by the late, great artist, Jamie Reid.

In the book, 180 of Reid’s radical art images are woven into the structure of the Pagan Wheel of the Year. Also featured are earlier pieces, including pre-punk, Situationist-inspired works, and the visuals he famously produced for the Sex Pistols.

The art featured in the book is selected and introduced by curator Stephen Ellcock, and notes on the seasonal celebrations are provided by former Chief Druid of OBOD, Philip Carr-Gomm.

In the book, Ellcock is also in conversation with John Marchant, who as his former gallerist and trusted director of the Jamie Reid Foundation, offers captivating and personal insight into Reid’s, ā€œlife, legacy and love of making trouble.ā€
