Jayson Lilley's love of urban architecture shines through his work, and reminds us of the beauty to be found in the urban environment when we choose to notice it.
Using his innovative printmaking practice, which combines silkscreen with painting and collage techniques, the artist recreates iconic views of cities, playing with colour and perspective in the process.
To create Top Dollar, Lilley hand-printed the New York skyline onto a vintage edition of Monopoly, and added glitter rays of light radiating from the Empire State Building.
From a limited edition of 30, the silkscreen print is hand-finished with orange glitter, acrylic pens and oils, and signed and numbered by the artist.
