Untitled 4 is a woodcut with lithographic underlays by Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry. The print is part of Perry's 2015 collection, Six Snapshots of Julie, which centres around the fictional character Judy Cope, an Essex everywoman, the typical figure of modern British society.
Untitled 4 depicts Judy in the foreground, her expression devilish. Behind her stands the figure of another woman, only her outline visible against a background of blue. Perry has opted for a clashing, livid colour palette: never one for a prettified or quiet aesthetic, Perry likes to challenge his viewer, often depicting the grotesque or shocking.
