Waiting For You, Framed Original

Waiting For You is an original painting by Euan Roberts – a Hastings-based artist and gallery owner, known for embracing the unrefined nature of humanity through his knowingly-naive compositions and signature bright colour-palette.

Speaking of the piece, Roberts reveals:

“Waiting For You is a painting about loss, longing and missing someone. It is a painting about being present in the moment. The chimp is riding a bike made for two. It is persevering despite its evident sorrow. It is living in the here and now. Something we all strive to do. Not giving up, not giving in, but carrying that forward momentum.”

This original piece is created with acrylic on canvas. It comes framed in a hand-stained bespoke oak tray frame, and signed by the artist.
