Mary had the patience of a saint. Since the Great Plague, she'd been juggling working from home with looking after the boys, half-brothers Jesus and James. Privately, she wished that Jesus' father would hire a PA because he was always too busy to do his share of the childcare (although somehow he wasn't too busy to see to the needs of millions of believers and Joseph - James' dad - was out all hours with his 'Carpentry on Call' job!
